APC, Igini Trade Words Over Alleged Plot To Rig Edo Governorship Poll


 Imuse accused Igini, a former Edo REC, of receiving a bribe from Governor Godwin Obaseki of the Peoples Democratic Party at his private residence in Benin to perfect the rigging plot.

Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Edo, Col. David Imuse (retd.) and Resident Electoral Commissioner of the Independent National Electoral Commission in Akwa Ibom State, Mike Igini, have clashed over
alleged plots to rig the September 19 governorship poll in the state.

The Nigeria football federation has been hit with another bad new towards the death of formal Nigeria goalkeeper John felagha died on Sunday in Senegal. He was aged 26.

He was said to be awaiting airlifting back to Nigeria on holidays before the unfortunate incident. He had x-rayed what had become of Felagaha who is among the 20 goalkeepers that had represented Nigeria at the U-17 level in the last 20 years.

The death of Felagha is coming barely 24 hours after the NFF also lost the head of its ICT department, Tolulope Abe.

Mr. Abe according to a statement released the NFF passed on at the National Hospital, Abuja as a result of complications that arose after surgery. He was 48.
